In January 2026, the CLS Surgical team attended the Winter Scientific Meeting (WSM) 2026, a leading educational conference for anaesthetists and healthcare professionals from across the UK and beyond.
Held on 15–16 January 2026 at the QEII Centre, Westminster, the event brought together more than 1,000 delegates attending both in person and online. With over 70 internationally recognised speakers delivering core-topic lectures and forward-thinking discussions, WSM 2026 once again proved to be a key forum for sharing knowledge and shaping the future of anaesthesia and perioperative care.
Representing CLS Surgical at the event were Philippa, Adrian, CEO David, and Sam, European Manager from Carl Reiner, who joined the team to support the presentation of Carl Reiner’s latest ventilator technology. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to engage directly with the anaesthetic community and introduce a new generation of advanced ventilators.
On display were the Carl Reiner TwinStream and TwinStream EVO anaesthesia ventilators, alongside the Panther range of next-generation intensive care ventilators, including the Panther 5 and Panther 5N.

The Winter Scientific Meeting also marked an important milestone for CLS Surgical, as it was an ideal platform to showcase the company’s newly modernised branding following a rebrand in late 2025. The updated visual identity and exhibition graphics received positive feedback throughout the event, with Sam commenting on how effectively the new branding highlighted both the products and the CLS Surgical brand. The response was particularly encouraging and reinforced the impact of the refreshed brand and website.
Throughout the conference, the CLS Surgical stand welcomed a steady flow of visitors, supported by the exhibition passport initiative, which encouraged delegates to engage with exhibitors. The team enjoyed valuable conversations with clinicians and industry colleagues, making the event a great success.
