The ShareGuard99® is an innovative medical device for respiratory infectious patient isolation. It is designed to reduce and prevent the transmission of respiratory diseases in healthcare facilities by reducing the spread of aerosols and droplets generated by the patients and treatment measures (e.g., suction of mucus, non-invasive ventilation, etc.). It is compatible with other care equipment, such as oxygen therapy and patient monitoring devices.

Infectious viruses are enriched in small particles, where they can stay airborne for hours and travel several meters. These particles are able to travel furthest into the airways, causing infection.
